Times are changing...

Originally named Phillips Precision Photography Ltd the company was established in 1984 by Martin Phillips. From a small unit in the Spirella building Letchworth, the company supplied local screenprinters and PCB manufacturers with filmwork. The film was produced manually using a Little John camera and dish developing, after six months a Screen Step and Repeat machine was purchased.

Business expanded and two years later the company moved into Unit 16. A couple of years later due to Client demand we set up a Studio to do Design, Typesetting and Imagesetting, starting with a couple of Linotype CRtronics.

22 years on, Phillips Digital Services has a workforce of eleven and has further diversified with the introduction of a B1 CTP, B1 imagesetter, PCB laserplotter, large format inkjet and graphic display equipment. In 2006 Phillips Digital Services have evolved even further by purchasing our first digital press, and therefore fully complementing to existing services to the industry.
